let it be a sad time for iOS for a long time. It’s something Google continues to refine on Android and we’d love to see Apple take some of those lessons learned and apply them to iOS 15. Triage triage is a problem on iOS. Online responses are very much needed in support systems. Collection needs to be adjusted so that important details are not buried. Possible notifications, such as deleting an email, should be clear and accurate.
Top Siri:
Let’s face it, Siri isn’t that big. Sure, it’s a little improved with each new iteration, but it’s far behind Google Assistant. Apple has a lot of room for growth in this. We would like to see better speech recognition and traditional responses. Drawing a web search is fine and all, but part of what makes the Helper so useful is the ability to answer your questions directly. Siri can’t compare, and we want to see that change.
Allow other default apps:
With iOS 14, Apple has finally allowed users to choose their default browsers and email clients. This was a good step in the right direction. However, we would like to see Apple continue to release a bit, first by changing the default SMS. Use iMessage is fine, but you can switch to something like Signal to have all the conversations in the same app. Some defaults for the app will also be accepted, such as music and video.
